Mumbai: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) chief Vishnu Kokje has given it back to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray over Ram Mandir issue. He questioned Mr Thackeray’s sudden realisation of the issue of Ram temple. He also pointed out that how Sena workers beating outsiders of the state in Mumbai was being allowed if Sena actually believes in Hindutva.

The VHP chief also taunted Sena that the party should concentrate on memorial of its supremo Bal Thackeray and leave the issue of Ram Mandir to others.

Mr Kokje was in Mumbai for the ‘Rugna Seva Din’ (Patient Service Day) of the VHP on Sunday. During this program he reacted to the reports about Sena chief’s visit to Ayodhya on November 25 to take a stock of Ram temple building.

“What is the power of Sena in Ayodhya? Why he (Mr Thackeray) is going there? Now Sena has decided to have show of strength in Ayodhya on November 25. How come Sena realize this issue suddenly after 25 years?” said Mr Kokje.

Mr Kokje also invoked the issue of Sena workers beating north Indians during agitation. “Here Sena workers beat north Indians. Then what he will answer to the people in Ayodhya?” asked the VHP chief.

Mr Khokje also said that Sena is trying to hijack the issue of Ram Mandir but it has no power or capacity to do it.

Sena is under attack on failure in pushing its founder Bal Thackeray’s memorial project in Mumbai.

Taunting the Sena leadership Mr Kokje also raised this topic and said, “First Sena leadership should look after memorial of Balasaheb Thackeray. Only after that, they should interfere into the Ram Mandir issue.”
