Mumbai: Three people were injured after the fire erupted in godowns in Mankhurd. Three injured were taken to the local hospitals where they received treatment.

While Aju Pal (40) is receiving treatment at Rajawadi Hospital, the third injured, Deedar Chaudhri (47), who sustained 30 percent burn injuries, has been admitted to Habib Hospital. Muktabai Chavan (40), a local of Mankhurd told The Asian Age, “We have been living in here for 17 years now, and fire takes place every year. We have approached the local corporator to find a solution for this problem. We hope that they are able to find a solution as our lives at risk.”

The moment the fire broke out, the fire officials and police rushed to the spot. After bringing the fire under control, the police and fire officials have launched a probe.
