Will initiate motion against CM in houses'
As per Mr Vikhe, the report of the commission should be tabled in state cabinet or in legislative house first.
Mumbai: Opposition leader of sta-te assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil declar-es that he will bring ‘breach of privilege’ mo-tion against chief minister Devendra Fadnavis for leaking recommendations of backward commissions. He annou-nced this while meeting protesters of Maratha community at Azad Maidan on Saturday.
As per Mr Vikhe, the report of the commission should be tabled in state cabinet or in legislative house first. But the press media receiving details of the report is breach of privilege of the houses.
The report regarding backwardness of the Maratha community pr-epared by the state’s ba-ckward commission will be presented in the state’s cabinet meeting on Sunday and in the legislative house by next week.
“The commission members continued meeting media, and the findings were out with the help of ‘sources’. There is greater ambiguity about the report. So, I will raise the issue and bring breach of privilege motion against Mr Fadnavis in the house,” said Mr Vikhe.
