MU postpones 7 exams due to Palghar bypoll
The exams will now be held on June 2.
MUMBAI: The University of Mumbai (MU) on Friday announced the postponement of seven papers of the summer examination by six days due to the upcoming Palghar Lok Sabha byelections.
The date of the election and the date of the postponed examinations are May 28. The MU, therefore, decided to reschedule the dates to avoid any inconvenience, especially for Palghar-based students. The exams will now be held on June 2.
Examinations that will undergo changes are TYBCom (yearly), MCom (semester III, old, CBSGS and Choice Based), MCA (semester II, old, CBSGS and Choice Based), Bachelors in Education (semester VIII), Second Year Engineering (semester III), Bcom (Semester V, 60:40 and 75:25) and B.Com — Accounting and Finance (semester V, 75:25 old and Revaluation - 2015).
According to a circular issued by the MU, the venue and time for all examination papers will remain the same.
