Apart from Class 12 results, SSC (Class 10) results are also likely to be declared in the second week of June. Around 16 lakh students were registered for SSC examination this year.

The HSC examinations were conducted from February 21 to March 20 by the state board this year. Nearly 30,000-40,000 teachers were appointed as invigilators this year.

Students will also get hard copies of their result along with passing certificates from their respective schools at the time provided by them. “This year too, the results will be declared on time. Those who could clear the exams with passing marks, they can apply for supplementary papers in July,” said the official. The passing percentage for HSC examination is 35 per cent along with mandatory scoring of 20 per cent marks in the theory examination.

For the academic year 2017-2018, the state board recorded a pass percentage of 88.41 per cent in the SSC examinations, lesser than the overall result in the year 2017, where 89.50 per cent students passed the examination.
