Bhayandar gets strict parking rules this August

Mumbai: Apart from the regular towing and impounding process, you will have to face criminal charges if you park your car on an immersion route in Bhayandar. The charges will be put for endangering the lives of people by adding to road congestion, given the sheer number of people spilling onto the road during immersion.

Stung by defiance of unruly motorist’s who park their vehicles on immersion routes despite appeals, the Thane (rural) police has now decided to crack the whip on violators.

To avoid traffic snarls, the Navghar police has issued an advisory of parking restrictions.
