Mumbai: After a week of dry spell in the city, Mumbai will see hotter days ahead. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that the temperature is likely to increase this week that will lead to a humid weather in the city. There is also probability of light showers in some parts of the city.
According to the Brihanmumbai Munici-pal Corporation (BMC) data, the city has only experienced total rains up to 12mm during the last week. “The off-shore trough along the western coast at Maharashtra and Gujarat region has become weak and is extending from Karnat-aka coast up to Kerala region. There is no significant system over Mum-bai and adjoining areas,” said an IMD official.
Skymet Weather report stated “Sky conditions are expected to remain cloudy which will further result in light rainfall activity over the city.”
On Sunday, the maximum and minimum temperature recorded was 30.8 degrees and 26 degrees respectively.
Weathermen have predicted that for the coming week, the mercury will not go below 30 degrees mark.
