Mumbai: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will soon receive the study reports of the upcoming four metro lines from consultants. This will also include the report of Metro 8-Airport metro, which will connect the existing airport with Navi Mumbai airport, confirmed Mr U. P. S. Madan, Metropolitan Commissioner.

Among the other metro lines, whose Detailed Project Reports (DPR) will be out in April include the Metro line 10 (Gaimukh to Shivaji Chowk) and Metro line 12 (Kalyan to Taloja). However, Metro line 11 (Wadala to GPO) will take more time since the work to prepare the report has been awarded recently. “The DPRs of three new metro lines are in the final stage and will be received by April end. Bids will be called shortly,” said Mr Madan.
