Sheena Bora murder case: Chargesheet reveals Mikhail’s role

The chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) in the Sheena Bora murder case highlighted a few facts about the character of her brother Mikhail Bora who helped Indrani to put pressure on Sheena to break her relationship with Rahul.

He had alcohol with Indrani on the day of the murder, didn’t try to find Sheena and finally was asked to fax Sheena’s termination letter to her landlord. The CBI has however not made Mikhail a witness in their chargesheet.

As per page 10 and 11 of the chargesheet, Indrani from her e-mail id – imukerjea@googlemail.com sent a mail to Mikhail on his id: mekhail77@gmail.com on March 8, 2012, a month prior to Sheena’s murder on April 24, 2012.

The content states – “This is to confirm that we have changed the will and disinherited you from our property and assets as a sign of our disapproval of your relationship with Rahul. I hope we have made our stand clear and you will be wise enough not to cause any more problem then you already have. Please don’t contact us till relationship with Rahul.”

Mikhail then sent this e-mail to Sheena. Even Indrani’s parents, who Sheena called Aita and Kaka texted her the same content on her mobile phone. The chargesheet on page 18 mentions Mikhail was enjoying liquor with Indrani at her Worli residence just after she murdered Sheena and the latter’s body was lying in the garage.

The page 21 mentions how Indrani and Sanjeev Khanna tried to hack into Sheena’s email –sheenabora@gmail.com and after failing to do so made another account sheenabora@hotmail.com. Incidentally, both Peter and Mikhail used to communicate with Sheena on her original account but failed to figure that her e-mail account changed after her sudden disappearance.

The page 23 mentions an interesting fact where Indrani sent an email to Mikhail from Sheena’s fake id (sheenabora@hotmail.com) asking him to fax her cancellation of rent agreement to her landlord. The same page and page 24 also states that just like Indrani, her husband Peter, son Mikhail or Mikhail’s grandparents, “have stayed quiet and not taken any action” on Sheena’s disappearance.
