Tejaswini’s baby girl hums a tune for Asha

Tejaswini Kolhapure recently celebrated her daughter Vedika’s first birthday. It was a grand celebration and among the many special guests was Asha Bhosle, who shared a memorable moment with the little one.

It seems little Vedika won over the veteran singer when she hummed a tune. We hear that Ashaji was quite impressed by Vedika’s humming and then she too sang a special song for the birthday girl, before leaving. The singer had come to attend the party all the way from Pune and she was accompanied by her grandson and granddaughter. Also present at the do was Meena Khadikar Mangeshkar.

Speaking about the celebrations, Tejaswini said, “Asha atya coming all the way from Pune and at this age I was very touched. She is my aunt, my dad’s first cousin. And to top it, when my daughter was humming to her (as she understands music already) Asha atya was very amused and hummed back into her ears. It was a super moment. I wish I had recorded it. Nonetheless, when Vedika grows up, I will have a wonderful story to tell her.
