Mumbai: Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar recently termed himself as the ‘Don of cricket’ after he took to Twitter to share the same.

However, this did not go well with Twitterati as they came up with some epic replies.

“Don of cricket as they called me but never enjoyed hurting people but I must say when I was out there I just ran in for the love of my country & for the people around the world..” he had posted on Twitter.

One of the fans also uploaded a video of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar slamming Shoaib for a four during an ICC World Cup 2003 match between India and Pakistan.

Sachin went on to score 98 runs off just 75 balls in that match.

Shoaib, also known as the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ for his fast-paced bowling, has played 46 Tests, 163 ODIs and 15 T20Is in his 14-year international career which kicked off in 1997.
