#MeToo India: Actor Niharika Singh calls out ex-boyfriend Nawazuddin Siddiqui, others
In his biography titled An Ordinary Life: A Memoir, Nawazuddin has mentioned about his relationship with the actress.
Mumbai: In the wake of the on going MeToo campaign, former Miss India and actress Niharika Singh has recently shared her bitter experiences with her Miss Lovely co-actor and ex boyfriend Nawazuddin Siddiqui as well as other industry biggies. She penned a long post and wrote her harrowing experiences that she faced while working in the movie industry. Her post was shared by journalist Sandhya Menon who took to Twitter and shared Niharika's #MeToo story.
In the post, she called out her ex-boyfriend Nawazuddin Siddiqui and film maker Bhushan Kumar. Mentioning about Nawazuddin, she wrote: "One morning, when I was home and he had been shooting all night, Nowaz sent me a text saying he was near my building. I invited him over and asked him to come and have breakfast with me. When I opened the door, he grabbed me. I tried to push him away but he wouldn’t let go. After a little coercion, I finally gave in. I wasn’t sure what to make of this relationship. He told me it was his dream to have a Miss India or an actress wife, just like Paresh Rawal and Manoj Bajpayee. I found his little confession funny but endearing."
“In the next couple of months, I began to discover one lie after another. Nawaz had engaged multiple women, giving each one a different story; one of them even called me from his phone and started yelling at me. I also found out about a woman he’d married in Haldwani, whose family had sued him for making dowry demands. I told him to clean up his mess, be honest with himself and everyone around him; also that I did not want to see him again.”

In his biography titled An Ordinary Life: A Memoir, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has mentioned about his relationship with the actress. But it wasn’t well received with the actress as Nawaz revealed about their relationship in his autobiography without her knowledge. On the account of which Nawazuddin had apologised publicly when he took to his Twitter and expressed his apologies in October 2017.
