It seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not the only royals getting hitched this year. There's another royal wedding on the way in 2018.

Princess Eugenie, 27, younger daughter of Prince Andrew, is engaged to her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.

According to sources, the entertainment manager popped the question during a holiday in Nicaragua earlier this month.

The couple will wed at St George's Chapel in Windsor in the Autumn, the same venue as Harry and Meghan.

The couple first met in Verbier in 2010, while Jack was on a skiing trip with friends and were rumoured to be engaged at the end of 2016 after Eugenie was seen with a band on her wedding finger.

However, sources close to the royal shot down the rumours claiming it's a piece of jewellery she's always worn.

Jack is the manager of Mayfair haunt Mahiki, while Eugenie works for an art auction house.

While Jack moves among royalty, it turns out that he has never attended university and according to reports it is his down-to-earth manner and confidence that is said to have attracted Eugenie, who is often described as a ‘reluctant royal’, with little patience for stifling protocol.

Brooksbank is the son of an accountant, and was educated at £10,000-a-term Stowe school in Buckinghamshire.

He took a job at Chelsea’s Admiral Codrington, a pub and private dining room, before being poached by Piers Adam to work at The Markham Inn, also in Chelsea, where he spent three years.
