Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has finally won his Income Tax case scrutinising his earnings from his stint on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The superstar had been served notices by the IT department on multiple occasions for allegedly not paying proper tax.

“The loss suffered by Star India due to non-production of another season of KBC with SRK was sought to be recouped by SRK with the earnings from the sponsorship of KKR IPL team. So, SRK paid Rs 10 crore to get sponsorship of KKR for Star India, even though he was not legally liable to incur such a huge sum,” Taxmann.com reported.

Shah Rukh Khan has consistently been among the highest tax payers of the country.

The actor, who was last seen in the ironically named ‘Raees,’ will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s untitled next.
