Bengaluru: Former India skipper MS Dhoni’s heroics went in vain on Wednesday as India lost the second T20I by seven wickets to concede the series to Australia.

Dhoni, who scored 40 runs off 23 balls, slammed three fours and three sixes in the match.

With those sixes, the 37-year-old got a total of 352 maximums from 526 international games, and became the first-ever Indian cricketer to go past the 350-sixes mark.

West Indies’ Chris Gayle leads that list with a mind-blowing amount of 506 sixes from 447 international matches, whereas Rohit Sharma is still one behind the 350-sixes landmark.

With the conclusion of the T20 series, the teams now travel to Hyderabad where they will kick off the first of the five ODIs on Saturday.
