Taking control of yourself, gaining clarity on what you truly want and need to accomplish, is a calming, inspirational, and transformational experience.

Being “grounded” is to be at ease in one’s environs. It purports to a sense of inner calm amidst discord and turmoil. On the flipside, it is, for certain folks, not a “good” attribute. This is primarily because not all of us have the sprawling “space” to feel grounded. It does not relate to paucity of outer space in cities, but lack of wisdom, which “otherwise” resides in one’s mind. There’s yet another reason — some of us don’t want to grow up. We goad ourselves to simply exist — not live — as it were.

It isn’t a formidable task for us to be grounded with the divine intonation in us — to receive the vision, or simple revelation, which connects us to the spiritual essence that dwells within us. It takes not a village, but mere acceptance, to receive just as much to get. This is the foundational touchstone for having faith in oneself and one’s own voyage through life. Yet, the irony is, we don’t seem to deliberate on any thought connecting to such a vision when things are hunky-dory. It is only when we face difficulties in our path, or dilemmas in life, or career, do we seek intuition to reveal the puzzle — “Why me?” Or, “Why is this happening to me; not someone else?” Well, the fact is we always opt for the self-evident line of least resistance, not fortitude, to tackle the blizzards of hardship.

By staying grounded all of us can seek answers to questions that impact us in one manner or the other. This was exactly the way the philosophers Socrates, Plato and Aristotle lived. We too can, because grounding sets the tone to think and frame new ideas and take instinctively insightful strides to moving ahead. The whole process is not complex mathematics, or neuroscience. It is also no placebo. It is far too simple a progression; yet its effects are weighty and revolutionary. It is shedding unwanted baggage — a “let-go” progression in which you are the apprentice and scholar purging excess cargo. This is a small step, also a big leap, for one to emerge from deep within one’s mind. The outcome is tranquillity and mindful strength in the midst of transformation.

The let-go blueprint holds a consequential rationale in our thinking process. It breaks the fetters of our ego and helps us to become amenable to divine sounds, intuitive rhythms and ageless knowledge that we all aspire for and need all through life. The best part — you don’t have to sit in meditation at an idyllic retreat to receive such a vision. You can, on the contrary, use such rooted insights without any access code from anywhere — including the confines of your own home.
