Amit Ranjan,

For 2016, I want to be more in the moment, get into the rhythm of nature and take it easy. For a long time, I have been planning to meditate regularly, so I will make a conscious effort to include the same in my daily routine. I would like to make music and trip on life!
Sneha Mehta, Director at Kukoon
I always try to follow a healthy lifestyle but one thing that has been off my radar is a workout. For the last three to four years, I am really ignoring my workout. So, in 2016 I want to make sure that I work out and follow a proper routine for a healthy lifestyle.

Until 2012, I had been an avid reader but it has been some time since I sat down to read a good book. Last year too, my new year resolution was to finish as many books as possible. But this year, I have promised myself and have set a target to read 50 books, minimum. Fingers crossed!

I have always loved traveling but due to my busy working schedule and the attempt to juggle work and home effectively, our family outings have taken a real beating. This year, my husband and I have promised ourselves that we will take family vacations at least once in every three months.
Mojojojo aka Akshay Johar, musician:
I will be channeling all my energy in 2016 towards making bigger tracks. I will also maintain a handlebar moustache that’s even more epic! Apart from this, I also plan to go well fed from home itself, to cut down on outside food on gig days. And perhaps, I might even add green tea to my diet as well!
Sartek aka Sarthack Sardana, Musician
I would like to collaborate with a World Top 10 artist on a track, play the most reputed Ultra Music Festival and establish an NGO by the end of this year to teach musical instruments to the underprivileged. My list of resolutions is an elaborate one and it also includes opening up the first dance music label in India, with affiliation to the recognised ones. And finally, to change my studio timings from 10 pm to 7 am to 10 am to 7 pm. On a personal note, I want to absolutely brush my teeth after every gig and eat more vegetarian meals and never eat a garlic dish before going to a gig. I will try not to hit on girls that I meet after my show and not fight with my sister if she doesn’t approve of my new music.
Umang Tewari, Restaurateur
I know that chewing pan masala is not a good habit, but I have been addicted to it for quite some time now. Both my family and I wish that 2016 will be a year where I shall finally be able to rid myself of this particular habit.
Priyank Sukhija,
Restaurateur
Quitting smoking has been an unsuccessful resolution for quite a few years now. This year, I have promised myself to fulfil it once and for all. I hope 2016 is the year when I successfully kill this inner demon.
Ramanjit Kaur, Artist
There was a time when I used to love cooking different delicacies for my loved ones. Now, with a cook and help in place, I have stopped cooking totally. I now plan to rekindle my passion for cooking at least on weekends. So, this new year, I will make sure that our weekend meals are cooked by me.

I always promise myself in the beginning of the year that I will find some me time for sure. But in the process of managing home and work, I somehow forget my promise to myself. This year, I will make sure that I take out two days every six months for self rediscovery and indulgence, which will include spa breaks, yoga breaks, going for holidays with my girl gang and much more!
Reema Arora, Designer
Four years back, I made a resolution to expand my business and set up a fashion exhibition outside India. However, due to various reasons, I was unable to achieve it. This year, I want to take my lifestyle exhibition, “Eventique Concepts”, to other countries too. Also, I have been missing out on gymming for quite some time now and want to place that back into my routine as well.
Rupal Shabnam Tyagi, Aromatherapist
I have been postponing my cleansing routine for a long time. With the beginning of this new year, I plan to stick to a body cleansing and detox routine at least once a week. This includes jala neti and vaman/kunjal on an empty stomach in the morning, followed by very light food and fruits throughout the day... I plan to heal holistically and naturally with these two ingredients that are excellent for cleansing two very important systems of your body, the respiratory system and the digestive system, by consciously including them in my daily fitness regime.
Mohit Kirpal, Interior Designer
In the process of setting my studio and designing homes for clients, I have been ignoring my long standing resolution to set up an online studio featuring my work. In 2016, I want to ensure that I take my career to the next level and also set up my online studio.
Shweta Singh, Designer
Being a Delhiite, it is very difficult not to be a foodie. I love to eat and especially over the last three to four years, I have been eating a lot of junk food. I want to make 2016 a healthy year for myself. So, my new year resolution is to resist my urge to indulge in unhealthy food habits any more.
