Daredevil stunts are in order

Geeta Basra, who was last seen in Zila Ghaziabad, will soon be playing the role of a tough girl in her next film starring Arshad Warsi and Soha Ali Khan. The film, titled Joe B. Carvalho, has the actress performing some serious stunts. To prepare for her role, Geeta had to undergo a two-week training session which involved learning Kung Fu and kickboxing. “Joe B Carvalho is a special film for me. It’s the first time I am trying my hand at comedy. I play a fun-loving character who gets tough when the going gets tough. I am doing some high octane action scenes in the film and I am training hard for the same. Hopefully I can do justice to it,” she says. Learning Kung Fu was not easy for Geeta as she has never been into sports. “But with the help of the team, I ended up doing a good job,” she smiles. Barring this Geeta has also signed a three-film contract with Nitin Manmohan and one of them is Dus 2. She has also been roped in by BBC Asia network for a documentary that brings out the true essence of Indian women.
