Bangalore: A nasty bit of drama erupted during Jwala Gutta's IBL match against Banga Beats at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium on Sunday night. According to reports, the 29year-old Delhi Smashers' captain was \"visibly livid\" after she became the target of hooting and taunting towards the end of the game, which ended in a tie. But some blame has also come the star's way . A source present at the scene told DC, “Right from the start, Jwala seemed a little hyper. She was also seen giving off Delhi Smashers souvenirs even as the match was on. Towards the end of the tie, the jeers started and continued during pack-up too. Her celebratory throwing of the racquet into the stands after the win only compounded the problem. Jwala, however, stuck to her stand. “The general Bengaluru fans were very supportive. But there is a section of fans that always travels with Banga Beats. They are always bunched together, wearing black T-shirts. It was this group of fans that passed lewd, personal remarks about me. Obviously, I got very angry and after the match, I had some harsh words for the Banga Beats team manager. I'm surprised the Banga Beats management did nothing to control this unruly bunch, especially because this is just IBL's first season and all the team owners are working together to ensure it is successful.“
