What was the point of announcing the Seventh Pay Commission now when there are still two years for the tenure of the Sixth Pay Commission to be over This can be seen as a tactic by the government to divert the attention of the public from the ordinance that the government recently passed, nullifying the Supreme Court’s order regarding disqualification of convicted MPs and MLAs.
