Sex activates more regions in the brain than Sudoku due to higher blood flow.
Sex is known for being extremely beneficial to mental as well as physical well being and with time intercourse has even been seen as equally effective for fitness as a regular fitness regime or a session of Yoga.
Several studies have pointed out how sex brings down stress and cures many mental issues, but now experts are suggesting that it also works wonders for boosting memory and is even better than playing Sudoku when it comes to enhancing brain function.
They mention that while Sudoku does stimulate areas of the brain associated with logic, pattern detection, planning and memory, the areas stimulated during sex are much more due to the increased blood flow at the time of intercourse.
Apart from releasing oxytocin also known as the happy hormone, which induces emotions of safety, stability, psychological warmth and altruism, sex also increases sensory perceptions of touch, vision, sound and taste to make it a more pleasurable and memorable experience.
All this combined with release of dopamine in the mind along with a hormone called serotonin, makes for a complete experience which lights up every region of the brain and enhances functioning, with the focus on memory to increase the desire for repeating the act.
