SpaceX signs world's first private passenger to fly around the moon

The first person to fly around the moon has been selected.

SpaceX's 16-foot-tall (4.88-meter-) Crew Dragon capsule atop a Falcon 9 rocket was set for lift off from Florida's Kennedy Space Center at 2:49 a.m. (1049 GMT) local time.

Elon Musk’s space transportation company SpaceX said it has signed the world’s first private passenger to fly around the moon aboard its BFR launch vehicle.

“Find out who’s flying and why on Monday, September 17,” SpaceX said in a tweet on Thursday.
