Pakistan aims to shrug off their unpredictable' tag

Mumbai: Pakistan bowler Hassan Ali revealed in a post match interview after the team’s triumph over England that he didn’t reciprocate with the ‘Unpredictable’ tag his team had earned. .

Ali says his teammates don’t like being called unpredictable and would rather be more consistent.

The Pakistani team were called ‘Unpredictable’ in a good sense after their in-form performance against tournament favourites England in the match, which was in contrast to their last match where the team were brutally beaten by West Indies.

Sarfaraz Ahmed and team inflicted a 14-run defeat on the English at Trent Bridge.

“We are very happy we won,” said Hasan following a bowling performance that didn’t let the English reach the 349 target. “We had an upset against the West Indies on Friday but, yes, the guys bounced back very well,” he added.

Hassan also mentioned the team’s disappointment on losing 11 ODI games in a row and said they never lost belief in themselves. “We needed just a little bit of a kick, and we got the kick. We ar every confident, our team is very good and balanced,” he further added.
