Ravichandran Ashwin set to join Delhi Capitals for IPL 2020

Ashwin has picked up 125 wickets in the 133 matches he has played in the IPL with an economy rate of 6.79.

Mumbai: Ravichandran Ashwin is set to join Delhi Capitals from Kings XI Punjab for IPL 2020. According to ESPNCricinfo, the Delhi franchise is buying Ashwin out in an all-cash deal.

The 32-year-old has played for Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab in his Indian Premier League (IPL) career. Delhi Capitals is set to be Ashwin's fourth team in the IPL.

According to reports, Sunrisers Hyderabad was also in the race to sign the off-break bowler but the talks did not move further as Delhi finalised a deal with Kings XI Punjab.
