Virat Kohli, Team India cricket captain, has stepped into New Delhi’s Madame Tussauds as their newest wax statue. Kohli is the most recent sportsperson to be featured in the Indian branch of Tussauds, after Lionel Messi, Kapil Dev, and Usain Bolt.

“I sincerely appreciate the effort and incredible work undergone in making my figure. Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience. I am grateful to my fans for their love and support. This experience is going to be stored in the fond memories of my life... now waiting to see the fan reactions,” the young cricket icon said in a statement released by Tussaud.

Kohli’s wax statue was crafted with over 200 measurements and pictures from the sitting session. Kohli’s pose defines his success as an international cricket icon and his rising fan following will get an opportunity at numerous selfies at the museum in the capital.
