Michael Vaughan mocked Bangladesh before England Bangladesh clash

England batsmen later took the hosts to a mammoth total of 386/6.

Mumbai: World Cup favourites and hosts England were considered favourites for the tournament but were then defeated by a Pakistan team that were totally in form.

Former England player Michael Vaughan had taunted the Bangladesh team in a tweet sarcastically calling the fixture an easy win for Bangladesh.

England batsmen including Jason Roy, Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow took the hosts to a mammoth total of 386/6. When Bangladesh started their chase, the batsmen started to tumble as Mortaza’s side failed to reach the target by 106 runs.
