Cricket fans are infuriated over the fact that ICC didn't keep a reserve day for cancelled matches.
Mumbai: The biggest cricketing event – ICC World 2019 – is happening right now at England and Wales. This year, the event started with a bang as various celebrities hosted the opening ceremony.
The viewers witnessed close matches as well as one sided matches. However, after the rain gods interfered, three matches got forfeited. The Sri Lanka versus Bangladesh match was also abandoned due to rain. Not a single ball was bowled during that match.
Although, the twitteratti is busy pondering why ICC didn’t think of the climatic onditions before making England as the hosts of the mega tournament. The cricket fans are infuriated over the fact that ICC didn’t keep a reserve day for cancelled matches. Slamming the global cricket body posted loads of memes.
