Mumbai: India’s right-arm chucker, Ravichandran Ashwin, is on the brink of achieving another major milestone as he is set to take the field against Bangladesh in the two-match Test series starting from tomorrow. India won the T20I series 2-1 after losing the first match to the visitors.

Ashwin has been selected for the Test squad and will be a guaranteed starter for Team India. At present, he has 249 wickets to his name in Tests for India at home. He’s just a wicket away from completing 250 wickets and joining Indian spin legends Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh in the exclusive 250+ wickets club.

Anil Kumble has 350 wickets at home while Harbhajan Singh has 265 wickets. Overall, Ashwin has 357 wickets for India in Tests (home and overseas).
