Fans gets irked by ICC's International left-handers' day photo celebration
ICC's Twitter handle yesterday celebrated International Left-handers day by posting a collage of left-handed cricketers.
Mumbai: ICC’s Twitter handle yesterday celebrated International Left-handers day by posting a collage of left-handed cricketers and asking the fans about their favourite left-handed cricketer. However, this left many fans unimpressed as the list had quite a few notable omissions.
The cricketers that found themselves on the list were – Sourav Ganguly, Kumar Sangakkara, Brian Lara, Alastair Cook, Garfield Sobers, Adam Gilchrist, Zaheer Khan, Mitchell Johnson, Shakib Al Hasan and Wasim Akram. But the fans questioned the exclusion of players like Sanath Jayasuriya, David Warner, Yuvraj Singh and Saeed Anwar from the collage.
The Twitter handle posted the collage and wrote, “Let us know who your favourite left-hander is!”
Happy #internationallefthandersday 🎉
