Iyer back in Mumbai squad
Aditya Tare will continue to lead the side and Dhawal Kulkarni will be his deputy.
Shreyas Iyer has returned to the Mumbai team after missing out on West Zonal T20 League, earlier this month. The top order batsman, who is in the Indian ODI squad for the South Africa tour, will bolster Mumbai’s chances in the ten-team inter-zone Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.
Mumbai have also included youngster Dhrumil Matkar and recalled opening batsman Akhil Herwadkar, in the 16-member squad. Batsmen Bravish Shetty and Khizer Dafedar have been dropped, while as young Shams Mulani has kept his place. Aditya Tare will continue to lead the side and Dhawal Kulkarni will be his deputy.
