When BCCI had disclosed salary details of Ravi Shastri in 2018

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in September 2018 had made public the payment details towards the Team India players and head coach Ravi Shastri.

Players of the Indian cricket team had received the salaries as retainer fees for their central contracts along with match fees.

The BCCI had revealed that it made an advance payment to Shastri for his coaching services from mid-July to mid-October of 2018, splashing a whopping sum of INR 2.05 crore. Shastri's initial contract with BCCI as the head coach of Team India earned him a whopping amount of INR 8 crore as payment from the board.

Virat Kohli had also received a sum of INR 1.25 crore for the ODI and Test series in South Africa, complimented with the ICC prize money.
