Indian-origin bowler hoping to be stronger at nets after getting hit by David Warner

Mumbai: Jaykishan Plaha, an English club cricketer of Indian origin is hoping to be at the nets "soon".
The 23-year-old JP had to be stretchered off the ground after being hit by a powerful shot from Australia's David Warner during the net session at The Oval a few days prior to the match against India.
Speaking exclusively over telephone from London, he says, "I should be fit in six weeks time, but two months off. Then I will be back in the nets bowling. It will take a good strong rehab to come back, but I will be back stronger and better than before".
Narrating the incident, he said, "I think I was very lucky, as the hit would have been to my nose or eye if I had not ducked down and tried to stop it with my hand when I got struck on the head".
"I could see 3 visions, but then I was okay as I took 3 breaths and I dropped to the ground where the staff and Australian doctor and ICC/surrey doc attended me. It was amazing from them".
Regarding wearing of helmet by a bowler, he says, "I think it will be optional to wear as fast bowlers we like to be light weighted, and this is a 1/100 chance to get hit by the ball".
Palha was well treated by the team and Warner gifted him a jersey, signed by all members of the Australian team.
"He (Warner) said sorry and wished me the best of luck in my recovery. I had a great chat with him. He wished me well and gave me a great gesture his match shirt with all the squads signs on there".
"The entire Australian team and staff, always checking on me, the staff at the ground and the Thomas Hospital (he spent few nights at the hospital) treated me well", he signed off.
