Jofra Archer had already predicted the result of third Ashes Test back in 2013

Just like Paul the Octopus, he has made some seriously unbelievable tweets in the past about the future.

Mumbai: Jofra Archer’s prediction skills have been making news after a few of his old tweets came true. Just like Paul the Octopus, he has made some seriously unbelievable tweets in the past about the future. Whether this is simply a coincidence or luck is up to the one who chooses to believe.

The bowler has been phenomenal since his debut after England’s successful World Cup campaign. He finished the World Cup as England’s highest wicket-taker. In the Ashes, his battle with Steve Smith was a sight for sore eyes. He picked up five wickets on his Test debut and proceeded to pick eight more in his second match.

Jofra Archer had tweeted in December of 2013, “Well played Stokes,” quite possible referring to Ben Stokes’ innings where Stokes hit a century albeit in a losing cause in that game, which was also a third Ashes Test at Perth. But now, the tweet made much sense following Stokes’ heroics against Australia.

Another tweet of his read, “Best run chase,I have seen in my life”. He had tweeted this is October 2013, which means that he referred to to India’s famous ODI victory against Australia when Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli helped India chase 350 with 7 overs to go. This can also be taken in context of the match that took place yesterday.
