According to a report by Koimoi, the movie is titled Doghouse and is being directed by Samir Karnik.
The reports further reveal that while Sanjay Dutt has been finalised as one of the leading characters, Emraan Hashmi and Suniel Shetty have been approached too. Reportedly, Dhoni will be seen in a cameo in the movie.
Dhoni's future in international cricket has been a subject of intense speculation since the conclusion of the ICC World Cup in July, and the 38-year-old himself has been on a sabbatical for more than two months. The veteran missed the West Indies tour and home series against South Africa.
