Sanju Samson eager to leave controversies behind
KCA has decided to let Sanju off with a warning, he is now back in Kerala squad for the south zone T20 tournament starting here on Sunday.
Chennai: Kerala’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is eager to leave his controversial past behind him and move ahead in the career.
During the recently concluded Ranji season, talented Sanju was in the news for wrong reasons as Kerala Cricket Association had dropped him from the squad on disciplinary grounds. He had left the team dressing room in the middle of a Ranji game without informing the management and the issue turned from bad to worse when Sanju’s father allegedly abused former KCA secretary TC Matthew.
As KCA has decided to let Sanju off with a warning, he is now back in Kerala squad for the south zone T20 tournament starting here on Sunday. “I don’t want to think about the past. Whatever happened has happened and I have a learnt a lot from it. Each and every experience teaches you a lesson. I just want to move ahead. I am happy to be a part of this tournament,” said Sanju .
