Sachin Tendulkar to feature in Muralitharan's biopic

Mumbai: India's Little Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar will feature in Mutthiah Muralitharan's biopic. This was revealed by Sethumadhavan, the head of the Production, DAR motion pictures.

Speaking exclusively, he said, "Sachin was the World's best batsman and Murali was the world's best bowler and a major part of their cricketing career was running in parallel. Hence Sachin would also be showcased in the film".

Incidentally, Sachin is the highest run scorer of all time in international cricket, having scored 100 hundreds.

World's highest wicket taker Mutthiah Muralitharan's biopic is set to release next year. 

"The film will not just talk about Murali's cricketing exploits but also about his personal journey, his family background, the influence of certain people in his life and also the political and cultural background prevailing in his era".

Arjuna Ranatunga, Aravinda De Silva, Roshan Mahanama, Hashan Tillakaratne, Sanath Jayasurya, Lasith Malinga, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Umpires Darrell Hair etc would also be represented in the film.

And yes, Muralitharan's Indian wife, Madhi will also be figured in the film.

"Madhi is a big pillar of support to Murali and she has enriched her life in many ways. Hence her role in the film will be given enough prominence, showcasing her individuality, and asserting the kind of strong character that she is", the production head signed off.
