The Rizvi College boys upstaged Siddharth College of Commerce and Economics 3-0 at St Xavier's ground.

Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce teams had a successful outing in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament, winning both their college boys league and senior boys qualifying matches.

The Rizvi College boys upstaged Siddharth College of Commerce and Economics 3-0 at St Xavier’s ground, Parel but their senior boys team had to battle hard before edging out Kandivli Education Society’s (KES) Shroff College 7-6 via tie-breaker after the teams were locked 1-1 at full-time. Sanchit Bhatt’s double strike (13th and 62nd minutes) and Arvind Raj’s 48th minute goal helped Rizvi get the better of Siddharth.

St Andrew’s College, however, had mixed fortunes. While their college boys team rode on Marc D’Souza’s five-goal effort to ground Maharashtra College 9-0 at the Reliance Corporate Park (RCP), Ghansoli their senior boys team bowed out losing to Vidya Vikasini English High School & Junior College 4-6 via sudden death after both teams were level 2-2 at regulation time.
