Kolkata: Smarting from a hat-trick of losses, two-time champions ATK will be up against title favourites Bengaluru FC in their return leg Indian Super League football clash at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Sunday.

The home side’s hope to make it to the last four is all but over after they went down to Jamshedpur FC 0-1 in their previous game. It was ATK’s sixth loss in 12 matches this season, leaving them eight in the standings with 12 points with only three wins.

Bengaluru have lived up to the expectations on their debut in the tournament, having won eight of their 12 matches to lead the standings with 24 points.

Bengaluru FC are clear favourites, at least on paper, but they will be wary of a team managed by their former coach Ashley Westwood.

Westwood has been elevated to the top post after the ouster of Teddy Sheringham and was at BFC’s helm from 2014 to 2016, guiding them to two I-League titles and a Federation Cup.

Bengaluru will hope to collect three points to keep second-placed Chennaiyin FC (23 points) at bay.

BFC won the first leg in Bengaluru 1-0.

ATK’s star striker Robbie Keane may return to the side after nursing an injury.

BFC won their last match 2-1 against NorthEast United FC.
