Kenan, Ved strike top form

Kenan Bhobe showed good anticipation and fine finishing to pump in five goals in powering Brave Bulls to an emphatic 6-0 win against Mighty Elephants in a league match of the Football Championship League, conducted by The Sports Gurukul (TSG) in association with Club Atletico Boca Juniors at the Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce in Chembur.  Kenan’s teammate Siddhanth Sharma notched the other goal for the victors.

But the day belonged to Ved Nandi, who scored an astonishing six goals in a ‘Man-of-the-match’ performance to help Fearless Sharks brush aside Lion Kings 9-0 in a Boys’ Under-8 game. Fareed Memon got a brace of goals and Anuj Patankar struck one to complete Sharks’ big win.

Meanwhile, Advait Noronha also produced a five-star performance striking five goal in Fiery Fixes 13-0 demolition of Spirited Dolphins in another Boys’ Under-8 game.

One of the more even and exciting games of the day saw Mighty Elephants and Fearless Sharks play out a thrilling 2-2 draw in their Under-12 clash. Eashan Sartape and Muaz Imran scored a brace, respectively, for their teams.
