Singapore: Star Indian shuttler P V Sindhu sailed into second round of the Singapore Open with a straight-game win over Lyanny Alessandra Mainaky of Indonesia here on Wednesday.

Sixth seed Saina Nehwal will open her campaign in the women's singles against Yulia Yosephin Susanto of Indonesia later in the day.
