Withings in collaboration with cosmetics giant L’Oreal’s experimental tech incubator is set to debut a new smart hair brush called Kerastase Hair Coach at the CES, 2017. This brush studies your combing technique and coaches you with better habits.

Kerastase Hair Coach consists of a microphone, conductivity sensors, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. The smart device’s microphone serve the purpose of listening to the sound of your hair brushing pattern and can even pick split ends. The conductivity sensor senses whether your hair is wet or dry and the gyroscope measures the brush’s orientation and movement.

Additionally, the smart brush features a 3-axis load cells that determines the amount of downward force users are applying to their heads.

The Kerastase Hair Coach is expected to go on sale in late 2017 at a starting price of $200.
