Sony unveils 4K HDR X9000F Android-powered TV series
This new smart TV series come with dedicated direct access buttons for Netflix and Google Play Store.
Sony has unveiled new 4K HDR X9000F series powered by Android 7.0. The new X9000F series is equipped with the X1 Extreme processor that promises to generate deeper darks and vibrant colours.
This new Extreme processor incorporates technologies like Object-based HDR remaster, Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR and Dual database processing. The TV features Triluminos Display for reproducing reds, greens and blues to give a decent picture quality.
The X-tended Dynamic Range PRO claims to enhance HDR and non-HDR content by boosting and dimming the backlight levels precisely for each zone of the screen with a backlighting technology.
The X9000F series feature X-Motion Clarity technology, to keep fast action images clear and smooth. And, the TV also uses 4K X-Reality PRO that promises to produce detail with Sony’s algorithm of reality creation database for any content, such as TV broadcasting, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Internet video and digital photos. The X9000F runs on the Android TV version 7.0 with Sony’s user interface. It also features built-in Chromecast and also gives access to Google Play services for movies, music and TV shows. Additionally, the series also comes with dedicated direct access buttons for Netflix and Google Play Store.
Sony is also planning a future update (scheduled to be available soon) to make the TV smart home ready and to connect and communicate with other smart devices via Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabling customers to adopt a smarter home ecosystem.
The KD-55X9000F 55-inch TV is priced at Rs 2,39,900 and the KD-65X9000F 65-inch and KD-85X9000F 85-inch TV prices are yet to be announced.
