NETGEAR boasts range of feature-rich products for networking needs

NETGEAR GS116LP is touted to be an efficiency increasing device for offices and other spaces.

NETGEAR Inc, demonstrated multiple of its security and surveillance solutions at IFSEC 2019 organised at India Expo Centre at Greater Noida last month. This showcase included various products ranging from Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices, Network Attached Storage systems to even data switches.

Abhishek Anand,  the Senior Manager of North-West and East India of the networking devices provider said on the occassion, “We have been a regular participant in IFSEC, which is one the best way to reach out to the partners and end customers. This gives us a good platform to showcase our huge portfolio of Switching (PoE/PoE+/PoE++ - up to 1440W, 1/10/25/100G Data switches), NAS (solution upto 960TB in a single box), Wireless Access Points(H/W and S/W controller managed) and Mesh Wi-Fi Systems all in LIVE setup.”

The descriptions of some of the products showcased were as follows:

NETGEAR GS110TPP

It shall have 10 Gigabit RJ-45 ports including 8 PoE+ ports for the deployment of modern PoE devices. Each port is said to provide up to 30 watts of power with a total PoE power budget of 120W.

NETGEAR GSM7248

It is described to be a gigabit enterprise-class switch with 48-ports with a non-locking design for full throughput simultaneously. It optimizes bandwidth, security, and control with full Layer 2 management capabilities. The network administrators can use any combination of these features to ensure uptime, availability, bandwidth and throughput.

NETGEAR GS116LP

It is touted to be an efficiency increasing device for offices and other spaces. According to netgear it can include VoIP phones, IP security cameras, video-over-IP endpoints, sensors, LED lighting, secure access door locks, and other IoT devices, as well as pan-tilt-zoom HD surveillance cameras with features such as night vision and built-in motion tracking.

NETGEAR GS305P5-Port switch

This one is said to be ideal for homes, small offices and conference rooms, according to the company. It is said to come with 55.5W PoE power which can power the growing amount of PoE devices around homes and offices. This could be VoIP phones, wireless access points, security cameras, and IoT devices. The GS305P Switch has four Gigabit ports supporting PoE which allows you to use a single wire to provide both electrical power and connectivity for PoE devices.

The NETGEAR RN424 ReadyNAS

This is a 4-bay network-attached storage device. It is capable of various functions, such as- file storage, file sharing, automatic on-premise, off-premise or cloud backup and recovery, and full data protection.
