SKAGEN unveils its first touchscreen smartwatch
Named 'Falster', this watch is powered by Android Wear 2.0 Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100.
Lifestyle brand SKAGEN has added a new smartwatch for its product portfolio with the launch of its first touchscreen smartwatch – ‘Falster’. Powered by Android Wear 2.0, it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100. The company is planning to launch two variants of the device – SKT5000 and SKT5001.
The device features a full-round touchscreen with an easy-to-navigate interface. The dial on the device seems to be simple with a visually balanced and cleaner interface.
The touchscreen functionality on the device includes function-based dials to access the features, which include customisable watch faces. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth along with activity tracking and also comes with interchangeable bands. As the device comes with Android Wear interface, it thus supports Google Play music alongside Google Assistant (for voice commands). The device has ‘smart notifications’, which means the user gets notified of incoming calls, texts and emails amongst others. The device is compatible with iOS and Android devices both with wireless syncing enabled.
SKAGEN Falster smartwatch is available across India in all the online and offline retail stores, with a starting price of Rs 19,995 all the way up to Rs 21,995.
