CES 2018: Foldimate folds your laundry in four minutes

At CES last year, FoldiMate had introduced its first laundry folding machine. With the given technological feedback from the customers, FoldiMate has updated their machine and they are up for pre-orders again. Around 8000 pre-orders were up last year.

Foldimate, as the name suggests, folds your clothing. The machine can fold all types of shirts and trousers (all sizes), towels and pillow cases. Keep in mind that these clothes exclude socks, undergarments, hoodies, and few baby clothes. The company claims that the machine can fold up to 20-40 clothes in four minutes.

Though the machine looks cool, users still need to feed the clothes one by one into the machine while it sorts out all of them. The machine, however, takes a bit of space as it looks like an old photocopy machine and can be a little cramped for small houses.

The company, through a partnership with European home appliances group BSH, promises the customers to deliver their newly designed product by the end of 2019. The new product might be around $980.
