At CES this year, LG’s new innovation – a rollable 65-inch 4K TV display prototype has been introduced. This comes after their innovative foldable 18-inch display which got introduced at CES 2016.

This huge 4K TV is a 65-inch OLED panel, which is almost as thin as a sheet of paper and can be rollable. According to the images, this flexible OLED panel is attached to a soundbar in which the TV rolls into place. At CES 2016, LG’s first foldable 18-inch display had been introduced, which can be folded into shape of a cone. The company also launched their innovative OLED wallpaper TVs last year.

The purpose of this huge rollable UHD TV screen is yet to be known, the company claims that “It can be rolled up and hidden when not in use, and the small size of the rolled-up screen means that it can be more easily moved and stored, allowing for better space utilisation, something existing displays can’t deliver.” With this portable and flexible feature, the 65-inch rollable display can offer users the high-resolution content anytime, anywhere.
