Fit and fashionable

Leading online fashion platform, Myntra, has ventured beyond clothing and accessories into the arena of smart wearable devices. Its  first activity tracker Blink Go,  is a product developed in-house at its Innovation labs.

There are no buttons. Toggling through the touch panel opens up features like activity tracker and a selector for walking workout and sports modes including steps, distanced, calories; a heart rate monitor; sleep and wake alerts and pairing to receive phone alerts. The built in Li-ion cell can be charged with any standard USB cable, through a port hidden cleverly under one of the straps you need to yank out the strap. For the asking price of Rs 4199, the makers throw in a smart looking  spare strap.

We don’t know whether that was the mandate for the designers, but we found  the device to be very lightweight and an elegant accessory on any woman’s wrist.
