Google has announced the launch of Android Wear 2.0 OS along with LG. The software will make its debut with LG Watch Style. The smartwatch will come in two variants priced at $249 and $349.
The Android Wear 2.0 software will be rolled out for another 19 devices in the coming weeks. Google first showcased the software at Google I/O last year. The final release to users was originally slated for last fall, but was since pushed back until early 2017. The company released five developers preview for Android Wear 2.0. The final release will include new always-on Watch faces allowing users to personalise information and actions from their favourite apps.
The Google Fit now lets users track pace, distance, calories burned, and heart rate while working out. Users can now download apps directly from the Google Play Store. The Google Assistant is also available on your wrist in English and German. Other languages will be made available in the coming months.
