Bell demonstrated a reality simulator cabin for selected consumers for the ride experience. The simulator cabin includes virtual video conferencing, document sharing between passengers and news feeds. Bell’s air taxi design took inspiration from the people that will benefit from it — bringing families, friends, and businesses closer together by gradually reducing the average in-car trip length, the company said.

“Bell Helicopter is innovating at the limits of vertical flight and challenging the traditional notion of aviation to solve real-world problems,” said Mitch Snyder, president and CEO of Bell Helicopter.

“The air taxi is not a new concept – Bell Helicopter has been moving people over urban landscapes for decades,” he said. This might be the future of your taxi rides for a family vacation trip to a city.
