Apple update! MacBook Pro and MacBook Air discounted for college students
Apple has added True Tone to MacBook Air's Retina display for a more natural viewing experience.
Apple is already preparing for the back-to-school season by updating MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Apple has added True Tone to MacBook Air’s Retina display for more natural viewing experience and has lowered the price to USD 1,099, with an even lower price of USD 999 for college students. Besides that, the entry-level USD 1,299, 13inch MacBook Pro has been updated with the latest 8th-generation quad-core processors, making it two times more powerful than before. It also now features Touch Bar and Touch ID, a True Tone Retina display and the Apple T2 Security Chip, and is available for USD 1,199 for college students.
Buyers can get a pair of Beats Studio 3 Wireless headphones with the purchase of several models of a Mac notebook or an iMac. Not only limited to this, but buyers can also get 20 per cent off on AppleCare+ and more.
With the latter updates, we can understand that the 12inch MacBook has been discontinued because it’s been 2 years since Apple last upgraded the device. So, the new Air replaces it. However, the 12inch MacBook was both thinner and lighter than the Air.
Mac Notebooks have quite set a reputation for themselves among college students, with Student Monitor data showing nearly 60 per cent of US college notebook buyers own a Mac.
